According to this article Sensegon has created a software for marketers to better target which advertisements each consumer sees. Although this seems very invasive, it is inevitable. We are in a society of instant gratification, so if our ads are targeted directly to what we would be interested in wouldn't it be a benefit to us instead of a misfortune. However, it does seem very invasive and for an age that has been scolded for putting too much information online, it seems as if any information is too much information. Already ads are targeted based on your recent browsing history, for instance I constantly have ads for dance costumes and shoes. It may now seem invasive but in my opinion we've gone to far to go back to the days of actually having privacy was possible.
